As we all endure this unprecedented period, we know there has been a high volume of communication from businesses over the last few weeks outlining processes, advice and suggestions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mindful to not further add to the anxiety, we have intentionally taken time to consider how our business can best support our clients that were about to travel or are intending to travel later this year and in 2021 when we imagine, COVID-19 will be a much talked about, past event.
Foreign travel programs for students going forward
In the 21 years of escorting schools, our tour leaders on the ground managers have seen SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu as very tumultuous events in Bali and elsewhere in Asia. We are operating the office as normal, waiting as you are for a time when COVID-19 passes. We will continue to do everything we can to provide the best service possible. We are contactable via phone or email.
All our client’s funds are held in a holding account thus ensuring monies already paid to us are safe and sound. As we do not have high expenses and we can afford to wait out this quiet period thanks to lessons well learned over the years.
Regarding COVID-19 in Asia
Student Educational Adventures is proactively monitoring the situation in all our student destinations, which we do in a judicious manner, as we maintain an actual presence in the countries we take you, with the support of our in-country managers and tour leaders who are on the ground. We are proactively working with teachers and schools for their upcoming September trips should they be feasible to run. Considering the unusual circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we will furthermore be extending additional flexibility and options to all groups, should they wish to modify their tours.
All our clients are now aware it is possible to reschedule trips as far as 11 months from the planned original travel date without too much difficulty. Like you, we will continue to monitor policies to allow our groups to continue to follow the evolving situation, without the pressure of deciding too soon about future travel plans.
As ever, we thank you for your patronage and your trust in our ability to weather the storm and look forward to better days.
